NHS Commissioning Board
The NHS Commissioning Board will be established as an independent body, at arms length to the Government. Initially, its role will be to support the development and authorisation of Clinical Commissioning Groups. In April 2013, following the abolition of Primary Care Trusts, it will be responsible for allocating resources across the NHS and commissioning certain services including primary care services, such as GP practices, and some specialised services.

Please be aware that the job descriptions below are for information only whilst stage 2 job matching is taking place.
The results of the stage 2 job matching process will be made available week commencing 12th November together with next steps for those roles that have not been filled. Please do not submit any expressions of interest for any of these roles at this stage.
Work is continuing to develop and agree the way forward for clinical networks and service transformation. These arrangements will be communicated as soon as possible.
