Laura was appointed Chief Executive of NHS Manchester when it was created in October 2006. She joined the NHS in the North West more than 20 years ago and has worked in acute, mental health and community health services. Prior to her role at NHS Manchester, she was Chief Executive of Manchester Mental Health & Social Care Trust, and Chief Executive of North Manchester Primary Care Trust.
